Guilty pleasures

I havent been posting frequently due to a gargantuan amount of homework. I will still try and post a few times a week.

This post is about that band you like that you are afraid of telling people you like. We all have at least one. Maybe more. Some could be worse than others. Mine manage to not be too embarrassing. You are so very lucky that you get to hear me share these with you.

Now that I think of it there is more of these than I thought.

First is none other than a few extremely lousy generic death metal bands. But i can admit they are lousy! Bands such as Dying Fetus, Suffocation and Cannibal Corpse still haunt my Ipod. But I dont care because Tomb of the Mutilated is a great freaking album regardless of what Nick says.

Next we have some lame semi-poppy post-hardcore like Alexisonfire and Cancer Bats. Those bands have always sounded decent to me through their popularity. So shut up with your elitist views on HxC. I like your underground Skramz too dog.

Then there is pop punk that I like. Note that only I consider these bands pop punk. Because they are far more poppy than most punk I listen too. Dont worry its not any of that lame Fuled By Ramen !@#$. I like the first few albums by Anti-Flag quite abit. Especially Underground Network. Their other stuff is okay. I also like NOFX.

I am kind of embarrassed to have Slayer on my Ipod. Because I dont want to be seen as "one of those guys". I only have Reign in Blood. Because its there best album and they all sound the same so why have more than one? Also I have a lot of Suicidal Tendencies because I havent gotten around to deleting their !@#$ty songs. Believe me there is alot of them. But hell, I appreciate metal so I figured I need some of those guys.

Then there is Sublime. Which are very popular for my liking. But they write good music! Well they did before their singer died. I dont consider them ska to the least though.

Katatonia's recent music has been extremely wimpy. But guess what, I like it. I mean its not great but I dont see any reason to delete it. But Christ Katatonia, you are almost radio friendly now!

Godspeed You! Black Emperor is a little too hipster and boring for my taste. But they are still there for when I need somthing incredibly slow. That is followed with extreme heaviness.

I have too much GG Allin for my morals to handle. My single Burzum album falls into that category too.

Crystal Castles is some extremely hip electronica, but they have a few good songs. But some are horrible.

Suprisingly I'm not afraid to admit that I like Enter Shikari.

Thats about it everything else I like is god-tier and 2deep4u.
