Why Libertarians vote Republican:
Libertarians are known to be "Full Spectrum Freedom" supporters. That means personal, like abortion, marijuana, and freedom of speech. It also means economically, free enterprise, no regulations, etc.
When voting for a party in presidential elections, or local for that matter if libertarians don't have a candidate, they tend to vote Republican. Why? Well, libertarians seem to choose economic freedoms over personal freedoms when it comes to voting Republican over Democrat.
Based on who they chose to vote for within the two giant political parties we can see that the Libertarians are more Republican than Democrat.
Throughout this post series I will be using the two major political parties as reference for their belief in either personal or economic freedoms.
