Socialism, a by the people idea of government, is one of the smaller political parties of the US. The Socialist Party platform is more focused on Personal Freedoms than Economic Freedoms. Socialists believe in a regulated economy, much like democrats, and every personal freedom possible whether it'd be: abortion, speech, press, assembly, health, life, and love. It's OBVIOUS that the Socialist Party is a Liberal, far left, ideology and shares beliefs with some democrats. Virtually none of all Socialist ideas agree with Conservative ideas.
The poor people of the Socialist Party are basically unable and unpresent in America's politics. The party is drawn down by conservative bashing. Claims say Socialism=Communism and that Socialism believes in no personal freedoms. Because the drawing down Socialists have to choose a side in the struggle of Red and Blue.
THE WINNER IS:
Democrats!
Socialists disagree with many of Democrats beliefs but are more tied to the Democratic party than the Republican party.
ALSO:
Small political parties having to choose a side within the "Red and Blue" is a sad thing; it shows America's lack of political diversity. EVERY party should be represented and EVERY party should have a chance! True democracy can only be sovereign and by the people!
